The Areza Silver Foam Dressing is made of polyurethane (PU) foam coated with antibacterial ionic silver particles, containing 0.350.40mg/cm3 (17.3 to 20.1 mg/100cm2) of ionic silver. This highly absorbent foam dressing is recommended for the management of wound drainage (exudate) in partial to full thickness wounds. The moist dressing provides a proper moist wound environment which is known to expedite the wound healing. Either side of this dressing can be placed on the wounds. The silver in this dressing provides long-lasting antibacterial properties of up to 7 days and It has been proven effective against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis, Streptococcus pyogenes, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Klebsiella pneumonia. The dressing may be used in wounds with cavity as well.

To assure sufficient antibacterial effect, do not keep dressing on for more than 7 days.

Frequent or prolonged use of this product may result in permanent discoloration of skin.

Intended for short-term use. Application for longer than 28 days is not recommended.
Cleanse the wound with sterile saline or another cleansing solution and pat dry.

Cover up the wound and one inch of healthy skin beyond the wound with Areza Medical Silver Foam Dressing and secure it with secondary dressing.

Change the dressing as needed or as instructed by wound care provider. In general, the dressing can be changed every 7 days although a higher frequency of change may be needed (as high as every 24 hours) in wound with high exudation.

To remove: Gently remove the secondary dressing. If the wound appears dry, saturate the dressing with sterile saline water prior to removal.
