EXCELLENT for abrasions and general wound care. I never used it before, it's worth every penny. I was putting on Bacitracin antibiotic ointment on a wound on my toe, but nothing was happening until I applied the Silver Alginate. It's a game changer! Within a week the wound was well on it's way to recovery.
