Areza Retention Tape 2"x11"

Areza Retention Tape is used to secure the primary wound dressings, pads, and tubes on the skin.

 

• Do not use Areza Retention Tape on patients with known sensitivity to any of its components, such as acrylate adhesives.

• This product is of single use. Do not re-use.

• Non-sterile.

• Although the backing of the tape is waterproof, water and liquid may pass through the sides of the tape if submerged or with prolonged exposure to liquids.

• For fragile skin, it is recommended to prepare the skin with commercial skin protectors in the areas where the adhesive tape will be applied before its application.

• Colored liquids can discolor the adhesive tape.

• If needed, use medical glue remover to remove glue residues on the skin. Do not use soap, alcohol or other chemicals or scratch skin to remove glue residues

1- Cleanse the skin around the wound with wound/skin cleanser.  

2- Apply the primary dressing over the wound following the guidance of your healthcare provider.

3 - Start by cutting the necessary length of Areza's Retention Tape using scissors.

4- Peel off half of the release sheet to expose the adhesive surface. Do not touch the adhesive. 

5- For primary dressings, center the tape over them, starting from the middle and moving outward.

6- Carefully remove the other release sheet. Avoid folding the tape over itself.

7- Gently smooth the tape for even and secure adhesion to the skin.
