Areza Ultra-absorbent Silicone Foam Dressing with Adhesive Border is made of a Silicone Ultra-Absorbent Foam with an Adhesive Border and consists of five layers. The first layer is a fenestrated silicone wound contact layer, followed by a triple-layer ultra-absorbent pad, and a vapor permeable, waterproof polyurethane (PU) film backing. This multi-layer design enables dynamic fluid management, providing an optimal moist wound environment, which promotes faster wound healing and may reduce the risk of maceration. The silicone layer is gentle on the wound and surrounding skin, minimizing pain and trauma during removal. The triple-layer absorbent pad includes a PU foam layer, a thin non-woven layer, and an ultra-absorbent layer, providing superior absorption and locking away wound drainage (exudates). The dressing has an adhesive border that is self-adherent, so no secondary dressing is required. Additionally, the adhesive silicone layer is non-sensitizing with gentle and durable adherence to skin with minimal pain and trauma during use and removal. The outer layer is vapor permeable and waterproof, and acts as a physical barrier to external contaminants.
